More About Katharine Tate - Estate Planning Lawyer
Katharine was born and raised in Spokane Valley, Washington. She graduated from East Valley High School in 2008. Katharine received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Carroll College in Helena, Montana in 2012, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a triple major in history, international relations, and political science. She then received her Juris Doctorate degree from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon in 2015, graduating Magna Cum Laude and in the top 10 percent of her class.
While at law school, Katharine worked at the International Human & Refugee Rights Clinic and at the Willamette University Clinical Law Program, was Editor-in-Chief of the Willamette Journal of International Law & Dispute Resolution, and participated in the Shanghai China Summer Study Abroad Program. After law school, she also trained in sports management and earned an athlete management certificate from Sports Management Worldwide in Portland, Oregon.
Prior to opening her own practice, Katharine was an associate attorney with Grable Hantke Law Group in Pendleton, Oregon, where she represented clients in family law, estate planning, and estate administration matters.
Having grown up in Eastern Washington, Katharine has the strong work ethic and love of the outdoors that is shared by people throughout this part of the country. She enjoys playing and watching sports, hiking, traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and her dog Buddy.
